Hello my name is Candy Shannon. I am the owner of Candy's Cheesecake Shoppe. I have been married to my wonderful husband Steve now for 30 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, Kayla and Stephanie, and one granddaughter, my little Addi . In 2020 I was a stay at home pastors wife and me and my husband lived in a tiny 900 square foot home with a 100 square foot kitrchen. Any time we had any event at church I did what I love to do the most, I baked!  All of a sudden I started getting requests for different items. People wanted to actually buy something I baked. At first I said no because it was just a hobby. I didn't know how to charge for doing something I love to do. As time went on I eventually agreed to take a few orders and before I knew it I had a full blown baking career.  My little "hobby" became so big we had to buy a bigger house and as business grew I knew I needed a  change. So I did the only thing I knew to do, I prayed. I needed God to show me what path to take and  God began to move and open up doors that I never thought possible. Now I operate my very own storefront  with 10 of the best employees I could ever have. We specialize in New York style cheesecake but also make a huge variety of desserts from scratch everyday. I am living proof of Philippians 4:13 that says I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. What started out as a hobby then turned into a dream is now a dream come true, and God is only getting started.
